Artist description:
A stained glass artist who studied under Richard Stubbington at Birmingham School of Art and was active as a stained glass designer in Birmingham from the 1930s to the 1970s. During the 1930s, he advertised as “Claude Price, Artist-Craftsman in Stained Glass, 236 Broad Street, Birmingham”.
Price participated in the 15th exhibition of the Arts and Crafts Exhibition Society at the Royal Academy in London in 1931. His commissions included the aisle windows for St. Agnes Church in Birmingham in the 1950’s and a window for St. Matthias and St. George Church in Feckenham, Worcestershire in 1970.
