Description: a very attractive coloured limited edition lithograph in Ronald Glendening’s distinctive style, numbered 37/100 and inscribed in pencil in the lower margin ‘A Annie et Pierre Koffman’ – which does not detract in the least, framed.

Artist description:

A painter, lithographer and film-maker, Ronald Glendening was born and lived in London, and studied painting and printmaking at St. Martin’s School of Art, 1948-1950 and later at the RCA, 1950-54. He also taught at Bromley School of Art, Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts, Croydon College of Art and Maidstone College of Art. His commissioned work included posters and illustrations for Shell, ICI Guinness and for London Transport in the period 1957-1975. He exhibited at the Royal Academy between 1955 and 1960 showing lithographs and paintings. His work is to be found in private collections around the world.
